a brief list of WTF:
starts 2pm Saturday June 9th at Col Summers Park, se 20th and Belmont.
armor/safety gear is encouraged
bring pimp cups
bring a grill/food if ya got it/want it.
RULES:
1. No head shots. head shots will count as a point for your opponent. will b e decided by judges.
2. no bike shots, WITH A LANCE. IF YOU WANT TO RAM YOUR BIKE INTO ANOTHER BIKE TO TAKE THEM OUt, you may.
3. first person to touch the ground LOSES. judges will decide.
4. judges are gods. their word is law. NO BITCHING.
5. for the first pass, you must stay to the left of the center line. after the first pass, if both are still standing, DON'T STOP, CIRCLE AND ATTACK. the only time a match stops is when someone goes down/gets dq'ed. AFTER THE FIRST PASS, THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES, EXCEPT FOR THE GENERAL BOUNDARIES OF THE ARENA.
6. NO BITCHING/TEMPER TANTRUMS.
7. GET THERE EARLY TO SIGN UP TO JOUST. if you aren't signed up before your event begins, you fucked up. we are going to try and be as fair as possible with scoring.
EVENT LIST:
2-2:30 SKATEBOARD JOUSTING. one fall rule.
2:30-3:30 NORMAL BIKE JOUSTING. one fall rule
3:30-4:30 MINI BIKE JOUSTING. best 2 out of 3
4:30-5:30 FREAK BIKE/CHARIOT JOUSTING. this is any handmade/weirdo bike, i.e. choppers/swing bikes/unicycles. best 2 out of 3 time permiting.
5:30-6:30 TALL BIKE OPEN CLASS JOUSTING. this is any non-"pro-class" tall bike. best 2 out of 3.
6:30-7:30 PRO CLASS JOUSTING. pro-class jousting tall bike is "two 26inch frame size or greater bikes welded on top of each other. no frame modifications, no long wheelbases, wheels must be 26inch or greater. seat height is irrelevant." if your bike doesn't fit these specifications exactly, you joust in OPEN CLASS. refer to Rules #4 and #6 if you disagree.
